Self-cooling rack
Data center facilitates cooling system by continuously pushing cool air through perforated plates on the raised floor to maintain a suitable temperature for all the racks in the room. An easier and inexpensive way to force the cool air to the equipment is to install a ”Cool air box”at the bottom of the rack.
Cool air enters from void at bottom of cabinet. The ”Cool air box” set the path for cool air to create a curtain of air at the front of the cabinet. Temper-glass Nfront door, blanking panels placed in the front of any open areas of server racks and the sealing panel on the inner sides of column created a big impact by just blocking off those unused spaces, which should force the cool air to the designated equipments.
Install 1U-2U vented panel between those equipments without ventilation fan, which aim at cooling the equipments by flow of cool air from vented panel to the space between equipments under natural convention.
Cool air box
Advanced features at the bottom of the rack - size of void can be adjusted to control the volume of air-flow. Void is equipped with guard to prevent the entry of foreigner object into the rack.
